The Sandbar’s Summer Bash

School’s out for summer, and there’s no better way to kick off vacation than with us this Memorial Day Weekend! Escape down the river for The Sandbar’s First Annual Summer Bash — a full weekend packed with fun, food, and fantastic live music. Let the kids play in the sand while you kick back with an ice-cold drink in your hand.

The music starts Friday afternoon with Nashville musician and songwriter Doc Hearl, bringing your favorite Classic Blues, Southern Rock, R&B, and Country hits to the stage.

Saturday keeps the party rolling with McKenzie Claire Knapps. You may remember her from VH1’s I Know My Kid Is a Star, but after realizing nothing compares to home, this Louisiana native is coming back to her roots and dusting off those cowboy boots.

Closing out Saturday night is Whiskey Row Band, delivering rowdy Southern Rock and Red Dirt Country. Loud, gritty, and built for beer soaked nights and packed out throwdowns, they’re guaranteed to keep the energy high.

Sunday kicks off with Zachary McClain and Nouveau Soul, blending the rich heritage of South Louisiana with regional influences, old soul, and contemporary sounds.

Wrapping up the weekend is Blue Crab Redemption, an Indie/Alternative Rock band out of Baton Rouge pushing the boundaries of music with a fresh, original sound.
